Jazz Jkl Live Consert - Aki Rissanen Solo

Pianist Aki Rissanen is one of the most respected contemporary Finnish jazz musicians. The pianist, who has made his international breakthrough with his trio, will treat the Jyväskylä audience to a solo concert. Rissanen's solo pianism focuses on minimalist, melodic ideas that incorporate his extensive experience and insight into classical, jazz and electronic music, without forgetting the swing.

Annu Vertanen is a visual artist and professor of printmaking at the University of the Arts, Helsinki. Annu will talk about her work and her works in the context of her exhibition Porous Matrix.
