Body

Investment grants for special groups include, for example, people with disabilities, senior citizens with dementia and poor health, homeless people, refugees, students, and people with mental health and substance abuse problems. In order to improve the housing conditions of specific groups, grants are available to increase the supply of rental apartments that are reasonable in terms of housing costs and suitable for their purpose.

Projects granted an interest-subsidized loan can also receive a subsidy. The grant can be received for construction, acquisition, and fundamental improvement. The grant application period is continuous. The Housing Finance and Development Center (ARA) decides on the investment subsidy for specific groups.

Application instructions and forms are available on the Housing Finance and Development Center ARA's website (In Finnish).

The city processes the applications, issues statements about them, and submits the applications to ARA for consideration. Before applying, it is necessary to present the project plan to us.
