Cultivation boxes

Are you interested in cultivation box? Cultivation boxes are available for rent in the Korpilahti and Vaajakoski areas. There are 30 boxes available for rent in each location. The cultivation boxes are 120 cm x 80 cm in size and their rental price is 12 euros/box. The soil that comes in the box is included in the rent. The city will deliver the soil to the boxes by 15 May.

Cultivation boxes can be reserved via the electronic reservation system starting at 10 a.m. on 11 April: https://s-asiointi.jkl.fi/ePermit/fi/Reservation.

Cultivation box’s rules

Gardeners provide the seeds and seedlings they need.

Gardeners are responsible for the care and watering of their plants.

Gardeners must keep the area around their boxes clean and take the litter with them. There is no waste management in the cultivation box area. Tools, watering cans, etc, must be kept in the home storage.

At the end of the planting season, the gardeners must clean their boxes and remove their crops from the boxes. At the end of the season, the city takes care of plant waste removal.
