The residents of a municipality and the corporate entities and foundations operating in the municipality have the right to submit initiatives on matters concerning the municipality’s activities.
In accordance with the administrative regulations section 115 of the City of Jyväskylä, the initiative will be examined by the authority who is authorised to make decisions in the matter referred to in the initiative.
Contact details have to be enclosed for the initiative to be processed. Email security is not ensured, thus you should not enter any sensitive information in the message, e.g. your ID code, bank account number or similar.
You can call the City of Jyväskylä Registry and enquire about the progress of processing your initiative. The person who submitted the initiative will be informed about the procedures carried out on account of the initiative.
