    The National Advisory Services provide support for unemployment benefits and entrepreneurship. You can call, send a message via chat, or submit a contact request.

    In the Career Information section of the Job Market Portal, you’ll find resources to support career choice and planning.

The amount of recruitment subsidy is predictable for employers, and the application process has been made as simple as possible. Subsidy can be applied for in 2026 for employment relationships that begin with the hiring of an unemployed job seeker.

    The University of Jyväskylä and Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences (Jamk) are organizing Applicant Day on Friday, November 7. This free event provides information about university studies and the application process. A free non-stop bus will run between the campuses, and during the bus ride, a city guide will tell you what Jyväskylä has to offer students. The event will be held in Finnish. There is a separate event for international applicants every year.
