Career advising

As an international student you can get career guidance. You can participate our events and courses, or you can get personal advice. A personal appointment must be booked in advance. You can also get a service without an appointment if you have a quick question for a career counsellor. If you want to book an appointment with career advisor, please, contact Tiina Kurittu. The assessment of service needs related to integration and skills

You can also get the assessment of service needs related to integration and skills. This will involve an initial interview and discussion of things related to integration. The assessment will cover topics such as social relationships, leisure, hobbies, work, health, and future plans. You will be also informed about services and opportunities that may be of interest to you. If you are interested, please contact Tiina Kurittu.


Employment plan

If you are graduating student and you aim is to find employment, an employment plan can be made for you. Check your residence permit to see if you are eligible for it.


Guidance and counseling on topics related to everyday living

International House Jyväskylä - Multilingual guidance and counseling services are open to all international students. It can be your first point of contact in matters related to settling down and everyday living, after you move to Jyväskylä.
