Public sauna shifts in the traditional sauna
You can visit AaltoAlvari’s wood-heated traditional sauna during public sauna shifts. In addition to the regular entrance fee, a separate one-time sauna fee is required. You may bring your own sauna whisk to use in the sauna.
Public sauna shifts:
Tuesdays:
- Mixed: 15:00–20:30
Fridays:
- Mixed: 15:00–20:30
Heating the traditional sauna depends on the weather. The sauna cannot be heated during periods of low atmospheric pressure due to potential smoke issues.
Whether the sauna will be heated for a public shift is confirmed on the morning of the shift. If the sauna can be heated, the shift is shown in green in the Timmi booking calendar.
Check the heating and availability of the sauna in the Timmi booking system.
