Start-up grants are financial support to support entrepreneurs at the beginning of their entrepreneurship.
Unemployed people, working people, students, part-time entrepreneurs or anyone who wants to become a full-time entrepreneur can be recipients of the grant.
The granting of start-up grants is determined by an employment services expert, and it is possible to receive it if the future entrepreneur meets certain criteria.
If you are considering starting a business, tell your personal coach about it. Becoming an entrepreneur may impact your unemployment benefit. You can get information and support for starting a business, for example through entrepreneurship training: further information on entrepreneurial education and training in Central Finland.

The daily duration of the work trial and the number of working days per week will be agreed upon with the wok trial participant. A work trial can be organised no more than five days a week and 4-8 hours a day.

The employer applies for wage subsidy.
Support must be applied for well in advance before the employment relationship begins.
