The Green Loop is a chain of green spaces and lush cultural environments around the city centre of Jyväskylä. On the Green Loop, you can enjoy all the benefits of green. You can exercise, refresh yourself and have a good time.
Green Loop is a new type of central park and outside livingroom. It consists of nearly 200 hectares of green areas and lush cultural environments around Jyväskylä city centre.
The Green Loop can be regarded as a local recreational area for around 20,000 residents. That is around one in every six Jyväskylä residents.
In Jyväskylä you can find eight carpet washing jetties that locate in Huhtasuo, Keljonkangas, Lehtisaari, Palokka, Tikkakoski, Kuohu, Vesanka and Korpilahti.
Self-service carpet washing jetties are prepared for use after winter at the beginning of May until September. Carpet washing jetties are open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. There are not running water after 10:00 pm.
Carpet washing jetties are free of charge. Please, remember to take your own soap with you and keep surroundings tidy.

Sign in to Job Market Finland and you can draft a job seeker profile on the Job Market Finland website for the employers to find and contact you. You can also browse vacancies and look for services that would support your search and work ability on the website.
The City of Jyväskylä and its public utility companies offer annually dozens of opportunities for working and studying at the same time under an apprenticeship agreement. During the apprenticeship you will be paid a salary in compliance with the collective labour agreement.
Employment services and personal career coaches for non-Finnish speaking clients are at Tietotalo in Kilpisenkatu 1D. You can meet your personal career coach only by appointment. Leave a message with your contact details for your personal career coach on the TE services’ online E-services.
Or you can come in to meet the on-duty personal career coach without prior booking on weekdays between 12.00 and 15.00.
