It may be possible for an employer to receive wage subsidy for hiring an employee.
The wage subsidy depends on the situation of the jobseeker.

Wage subsidy is granted on a discretionary basis and is based on the job seeker's need to gain employment experience.

The employer applies for wage subsidy.

Support must be applied for well in advance before the employment relationship begins.
Ask your personal coach about your wage subsidy rate and how long the wage subsidy can be paid for.

It is also possible for the employer to receive a municipal supplement for the costs of recruitment. The municipal supplement is financial support for the employer.

Good to know about wage subsidy:

  • The personal coach will assess whether the jobseeker needs wage subsidy.
  • The employer pays the salary written in the employment contract
  • No wage subsidy is granted for work where the salary is commission-based, i.e. based on work results.
  • The employment relationship may not begin before the decision on wage subsidy is made.
