Linkki public transport mobile tickets are sold through several sales channels, not all of which are managed by Linkki. It is always worth checking the price of the ticket in advance in the app you are using to buy it.

The price indicated by the ticketing app can be compared with the ticket prices in Linkki's price list before purchase.

Linkki mobile tickets can also be purchased from third-party apps. These include, among others, the following so-called partner sales channels

  • PayIQ's Linkki app
  • Matkahuolto's Routes and Tickets app
  • Onnibus bus ticketing app
  • VR On the Road app
  • Perille.fi Perille app

When purchased through partner sales apps, the price of a Linkki ticket may include the operator's own payment surcharge. Once purchased, it cannot be cancelled afterwards, so it is advisable to check the price of the ticket in the app before making a purchase decision.

The mobile ticket prices shown in the Linkki price list have been valid in the Waltti Mobile app since 1.1.2025.

Waltti Mobile is a Finnish public transport mobile application that is part of the Waltti ticketing and payment system. Linkki is involved in the development and exploitation of the Waltti system in cooperation with other public transport authorities in the city regions.

Why are there several ticketing apps?

The law requires public transport authorities to allow the sale of their tickets not only through their own sales channels but also through third-party channels. Linkki, Jyväskylä Region Public Transport, has long enabled partner sales to different operators.

Partner vendors can themselves determine the price at which they sell tickets to customers in their own applications. Thus, the price of tickets in partner sales channels may vary between different applications and differ from Linkki's price list.
