In Jyväskylä, applications for daycare, family daycare, early childhood education clubs, and pre-primary education are submitted online.

Attachments for early childhood education decisions (in finnish)
- Application for municipal or private early childhood education, pre-primary education, or club activities
- Transfer application for changing a municipal early childhood education or club place
- Estimate of the client fee according to national fee regulations as of 1 August 2024
- Service voucher application for private early childhood education or club activities (the application can be submitted once the care place is confirmed)
- Approval of electronic notification, which allows guardians to receive an email and/or SMS when a decision is ready. The decision can be viewed and printed in the Edlevo mobile app or by logging in to Edlevo.
Current Customers
Using the service requires authentication via the Suomi.fi identification service and an active early childhood education customer relationship. You can choose bank credentials, mobile certificate, or smart card for authentication. Supported browsers: Chrome and Firefox (latest version), Edge Chromium 80+.

Processing of personal data
The service manager acts as the person responsible for the personal data registers within the service area. Privacy notices are available at daycare centres and in service guidance. Customers have the right to review the information concerning themselves.
According to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018), municipalities are obliged to record in the early childhood education data repository (Varda) information about children in early childhood education and their guardians, early childhood education providers and locations, as well as staff.
