Repair work on the Louhunsalmi bridge in Säynätsalo
Traffic on the open Louhunsalmi bridge between Säynätsalo and Lehtisaari will be restricted due to a broken cable
Traffic on the Louhunsalmi bridge will be restricted until late summer 2025. The reason for this is the breaking of the cable that serves as an additional support in November 2024. It is possible that there is damage to other additional cables as well. However, there is no risk of the bridge collapsing.
The construction work will cause temporary interruptions in traffic during the summer.
It is possible that the bridge will have to be closed in windy weather. The closing times of the bridge will be announced separately.
