Designated non-profit organizations may receive an interest subsidy loan for the construction of rental, right-of-occupancy, and shared-ownership apartment buildings, for the construction of a rental house in the form of a housing association, to own a rental apartment, and fundamental improvement and acquisition of rental and right-of-occupancy buildings. Applications can be submitted to the City of Jyväskylä without a specific application period. The Housing Finance and Development Center (ARA) decides whether to accept the loan as an interest subsidy loan.

Guaranteed loans can be used in building an ordinary rental house. Applications are submitted to the city of Jyväskylä without a special application period. The Housing Finance and Development Center (ARA) decides on the approval of a loan granted for new construction as a guaranteed loan.

State guarantee of fundamental improvement loans for housing stock companies

You can get support for maintenance key measures, such as plumbing and exterior cladding and energy-saving repairs.

The amount of a guaranteed loan is a maximum of 70% of the acceptable basic improvement costs. A one-time 2% of the capital of the approved loan is a guarantee fee charge. The Housing Finance and Development Center (ARA) decides on the approval of the guaranteed loan.
