Young people can apply to the Jyväskylä Youth Council for project funding to implement their own projects.

Every year, the Jyväskylä Youth Council organizes a project funding summit, where €17,000 is distributed to projects run by young people. This year, the Youth Council's project funding, for which applications must be submitted by February 28, is intended for project groups in upper secondary schools, high schools, vocational schools, youth centers, and organizations, as well as for independent youth groups.
The aim is to use the money to support as many events, activities, and projects as possible that have been conceived by young people themselves. Funding can be sought for organizing events or supporting leisure activities, for example.
This year, the project funding application period is open from January 22 to February 28, and the project funding will be distributed at the Youth Council Summit in the City Hall Council Chamber on March 19.
