Hello student, welcome to Jyväskylä!

In addition, over the next two weeks, advertisements targeting students will be displayed on social media and in selected public spaces and outdoor displays. This year, the flags of the student city and educational institutions will also be flying at the harbor to greet passing students.

The city's joint stand at the events for new students will feature a number of services that are of interest to students and aimed at them, such as the Jyväskylä City Theater, Jyväskylä Symphony Orchestra, City Library, Jyväskylä Museums, Linkki, Ohjaamo, Youth’s House of Jyväskylä, Visit Jyväskylä Region, housing counsellor, employment services, International House Jyväskylä, and participation services. Some of the services are only presented at events organized by other educational institutions.

In addition to these events, students are welcomed to the city with commercial display advertisements, displays on Onnibus buses arriving in Jyväskylä, and information displays in the city and on educational institution campuses. At the same time, students are reminded of the student benefits offered by the city. Student benefits are listed on the student city's website.
