Pentti Rasinkangas' 70-year career will be celebrated at Jyväskylä Sinfonia family concert on 23.4.

The concert’s second soloist is singer Arja Koriseva, who also celebrates her 60th birthday in April. Joining the event is the Jyväskylä music class choir, coached by Anne Federley, Hanna Pitkänen, and Liisa Suokivi. The concert Pentti, Arja ja Markan possu will take place on Wednesday, April 23rd at 18 at Paviljonki.

The program features a versatile selection of songs composed and written by Rasinkangas over the course of his career. Among the songs performed are Meidän uusi vauva ("Our New Baby"), Saamme voimaa auringosta ("We Draw Strength from the Sun"), and Ankkapäällikkö Annaliisa ("Chief Duck Annaliisa"). The new symphonic arrangements have been created by Timo Hietala, Timo Alakotila, Yari, Heikki Elo, and Ville Ojanen.

The concert is suitable for the whole family and lasts about one hour (no intermission).
