Seasonal work — try something new or gain experience

What is seasonal work?
Seasonal work is temporary employment carried out during specific times of the year. It is available in various industries, such as tourism and hospitality, property maintenance, and logistics.
In the summer, tourist destinations, parks, and events require extra staff, while in the winter, shops, restaurants, and ski resorts hire seasonal workers. Lapland offers seasonal jobs year-round, particularly in the tourism and hospitality sectors. While some seasonal jobs are concentrated in specific areas, opportunities can be found across Finland. If you're open to working in a different location, you can gain new experiences and valuable work experience.
Seasonal work helps build valuable skills and makes future job searches easier. It also provides opportunities to network and meet new people, which can open doors to other job possibilities. For many, seasonal work serves as a stepping stone to permanent employment or allows them to return to the same company for seasonal roles year after year.
