Machine translator to help on the website of the City of Jyväskylä

Machine translations of websites help to understand the content, especially when an official translation of the content of the desired page has not been made. The translation button allows you to see a machine translation of the page's content in the language of your choice. Since it's a machine translation, the translation may contain defects and/or mistakes. If an official translation of the content published on jyvaskyla.fi is available, it should primarily be used.
Using the translate button

The translation button can be found in the upper right corner of the page, next to the language menu. The translation button is used on all basic pages of the City of Jyväskylä and some of the websites with their own layout, such as the Library and Employment services. The button will be turned on for other theme layouts as soon as possible. The service is provided by Google Translator.
Once the language is selected, the site can be browsed in the selected language. You can get out of the selection and change the language back to Finnish by closing the Google Translator in the corner at the top of the page. The translation button can be found on the City's finnish pages.
Using the translation function requires accepting cookies.
