Episode Student Festival - a new kind of student event takes over Lutakko Square

– A couple of years ago, we noticed that many student events were repeating themselves. We thought it would be great to bring something new to Jyväskylä, says Joni Rajala from the event's marketing department.  

That's when a group of students from the Tiimiakatemia took action and after many stages, the Episode Student Festival was born. The event, which will take place on Wednesday 18 September, will bring a diverse line-up of artists to Lutakonakonaukio, with performances by Gasellit, Hugo, Bess, Ahti and Axel Kala & Pyrythekid.

– The basic idea behind the event is that you don't have to walk around the city, but the party is already set up in one place. We have a diverse roster of artists whose stage shows are great!, Joni tips.

The main idea behind the event is to provide experiences for participants, especially during the event. For example, before the Gasellit show, the audience will be shown a short film that will be shot during the festival day.
