Due to a strike, the traffic of Linkki buses will stop from Wednesday, 1.3. at 3 a.m.

If the bus transport workers' labor dispute would not resolve on Tuesday, 28 February, the strike will start on Wednesday, 1 March 2023, at 03.00. The strike announced by the AKT, Finnish Transport Workers’ Union, is scheduled to continue until Friday, 10 March, at 3 a.m.

There are three operators in Linkki local traffic in Jyväskylä, Laukaa, and Muurame, of which only order runs from "Mennään Bussilla Oy" will be excluded from a possible strike. The operator is also responsible for lines 5 and 5K and the Linkki-VIP traffic, so they will provide services during the strike.

The lines and schedules of Linkki's two other operators, Jyväskylä Liikenne Oy and Länsilinjat Oy, will not run during the strike. 
The following line of the Jyväskylän Liikenne will not run during the strike: 3,3K, 4K, 7, 8, 10, 12, 12K, 13, 14, 14M, 15, 15K, 16, 16M, 18, 18K, 20, 21, 21M, 22, 22M, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 31, 32, 34, 36, 37, 38, 38K, 38R, 39 and 41.
The lines of the Länsilinjat that will not run are 1, 1M, 2, 2M, 4, 19 and 42.

When the strike starts, from 1 March, the Linkki schedule and route guide show only the schedules and routes of lines 5 and 5K. The information about regional traffic during the strike is available on Matkahuolto's website.

Schools will inform the parents about possible special arrangements for students' transportation to school. During the strike, you should be prepared that it may not be possible to arrange replacement transportation for schoolchildren

No decision has been made regarding reimbursement of season ticket customers for the duration of the strike. If refunds are paid, efforts are made to negotiate them in a uniform practice among urban regions. However, when the strike duration is known, possible refunds are relevant.
