In the specialized treatment unit, patients who need orthodontic care, clinical special treatment or oral surgery are treated. Internal referrals enable the treatment of the persons sent from other oral health care units in the City of Jyväskylä.

Orthodontic treatment is targeted at children under 18 years of age. The Palokka dental clinic also offers orthodontic services. The location of the child’s or young person’s school defines the place of treatment.

In the oral emergency clinic (Suuakuutti) of Nova dental clinic, oral infection clearing is conducted for patients who have chronic illnesses or are about to, for example, receive surgical or oncological treatment.
You can access Nova dental clinic services through the oral health care telephone line 014 26 60 126. It is at your service from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 4 pm.
