If you have normal cold symptoms, such as cough or fever, stay at home and rest.
- Stay at home
- Avoid spreading the virus to other people
If you feel really ill or if you have difficulty breathing, call the Coronavirus Helpline, tel. 014 266 0133. This service will be open from Monday to Friday 8–16.
At other times, please call the Central Finland Hospital District telephone helpline, tel. 116 117.
A healthcare professional will answer the phone and give you instructions on where and when you should go to seek medical care.
It is important that patients call this number first to receive personal advice on when to arrive at a health centre or hospital. Stay home and do not leave for the health centre or hospital while waiting for the call back, because this could put everyone else at the healthcare facility at risk of contracting the virus.
Update on 13 March: If you suspect Coronavirus don't use the online booking service.
