International Networks
City of Jyväskylä participates in international networks in order to find partners for international projects and to exchange information and best practices between experts as well as to promote active international networking and contacts between the city, local companies and R&D actors.

ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability. City of Jyväskylä member since 1997.
The Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy - an initiative where local authorities voluntarily commit to implementing EU climate and energy objectives. City of Jyväskylä signed in 2016.
HOOP Network of Cities and Regions. City of Jyväskylä member since 2023.
