The Museum of Central Finland is an accessible and easily reachable museum. All the floors of the Museum of Central Finland are accessible via a lift. The accessible toilet is located on the first floor. A wheelchair and a rollator can be borrowed for the duration of your visit. A diaper changing station is in the accessible toilet on the first floor.

When travelling with a pram, the most accessible access is from the bus stop Museo 2 on Hannikaisenkatu (distance of 170 meters to the museum entrance on Alvar Aallon katu). It is possible to go around the outside staircase, which leads from the Yliopisto 1 bus stop to the museum, by going along Seminaarinkatu or Kramsunkatu, in which case the distance is about 400 metres.

Guide and assistance dogs are welcome to the museum. Our museum has also received praise for having objects and things that can be touched in our exhibitions. Please do not hesitate to ask for advice. We at the Museum of Central Finland are here for you.
