Plots

The City of Jyväskylä annually sells or leases approximately 80 plots for single-family houses. New plots are usually handed out in the spring and autumn. Otherwise, available plots may be applied for on a monthly basis. As a rule, a separate application form is used for applying for city lots. The city also sells lots on the basis of competitive tendering.

The City leases land and issues land use permits for City-owned land and water areas for different purposes, such as events.
