Art Birthday for Children
Welcome to celebrate your birthday at the art museum!
Art birthday´s program consists of an experiential exhibition tour, a workshop, gift-giving and birthday treats. In the workshop, everyone creates their own work of art to take home.
The two-hour art birthday parties are organized at the Jyväskylä Art Museum from Tuesday to Saturday from 11 am to 5:30 pm. Invitations are limited to a maximum of 12 guests. One adult responsible for the children must also be present.
Art birthday workshop theme:
There are two workshop themes to choose from:
- Easy graphics: engrave your own, simple graphics plate, which you can use to print color graphics.
- Art right now! The Art Museum's exhibitions and themes vary, so a separate, experiential workshop is planned for each exhibition. Ask for more information!
The children's own adults can visit the Jyväskylä Art Museum's exhibition free of charge during the art birthday party.
The Art Museum's premises are accessible.
Catering: The client is responsible for the catering of the birthday treats. The Art Museum's workshop space has tablecloths and dishes. Note! Candles, such as cake candles, cannot be burned in the workshop space.

Art birthday for children are paid for on the day of the event at the museum's cash desk. The price includes admission to the museum, guidance and guided workshop with materials.

Art birthdays must be booked no later than two weeks before the desired date and cancelled no later than five days before the booked time. The booked workshop will be charged in any case if it is not cancelled by the deadline (5 days before the booked time).
