Supervision costs will be charged in addition to the rental fee.
Evening and Weekend Use
If the premises are used outside the museum’s regular opening hours, an additional fee applies:
- Weekdays after 6 pm: rental fee + 46€ per hour
- Weekends and public holidays: rental fee + 81€ per hour
- Opening the museum outside office hours and normal opening hours: 76€
Staff costs incurred by the event will also be charged.

Guided Tours

- Pre-booked guided tours for school pupils and students are free of charge from Tuesday to Friday between 8 am and 4 pm.

Booking and Cancellation
- Tours must be booked in advance.
- Booking should preferably be made about two weeks before the tour date.
- Cancellations are free of charge up to 5 days before the scheduled tour.
On the Day of the Tour
- The guide arrives 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- The guide will wait up to 30 minutes after the scheduled start time.
- If the group requests a longer waiting time, an additional fee of 20€ per commenced hour will be charged.
- Extended waiting is only possible if the guide has no other commitments.
If the tour is not cancelled within the required time, the agreed fee will be charged even if the tour is not used.

Loan Materials
The museum lends exhibition structures, objects and travelling exhibitions.
Loan fees are determined on a case-by-case basis and depend on the material being borrowed.
Travelling Exhibitions
The Art Museum offers several small travelling exhibitions suitable for art enthusiasts of all ages.
Loan fees for travelling exhibitions are agreed separately.

Artwork Loans
The Jyväskylä Art Museum lends artworks from its collections to museums and exhibition organisers.
Loan Fees

The fee includes:
- Condition checks before and after the loan
- Packing of the artwork
- Unpacking of the artwork
In some cases, the loan fee may be waived.

The museum can place artworks from the City of Jyväskylä Art Collection in workplaces and other premises.

Delivery Terms for Image Orders
- Image orders are delivered according to agreement.
- The normal delivery time is at least one week.
- Urgent orders incur a surcharge of 50% of the order price.
- Delivery costs are charged to the customer.
- Images are supplied together with usage instructions and licence information.
Images may only be used for the purpose for which permission has been granted.
When publishing an image, the following must be credited:
- Jyväskylä Art Museum
- The photographer
Users are responsible for complying with copyright and privacy regulations.
After publication:
- Images must be returned to the museum.
- The customer must inform the museum how each image was used.
The museum does not lend original photographs or negatives outside the museum.
If an image is used in a publication such as a book or brochure, one copy of the finished publication must be supplied to the Jyväskylä Art Museum.
