Accessibility in Art Museum

Jyväskylä Art Museum is in the city centre at Kauppakatu 23.

There are parking spaces near the museum. An accessible parking space is available close to the museum entrance. Visitors may stop briefly in front of the museum entrance, but parking is not permitted there.

Local bus stops are located near the museum. A taxi stand is also situated next to the museum.

The museum is fully accessible. All floors can be reached by elevator. An accessible toilet is located on the first floor.

Visitors may borrow a wheelchair or a stroller during their visit. Baby changing facilities are available in the museum.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome.

Museum staff are happy to assist visitors when needed. The museum also loans assistive aids, such as flashlights and magnifying glasses.
