The Art Museum Library and Archives

The Jyväskylä Art Museum Library operates as part of the museum's research unit. The library acquires literature that supports research into the museum's collections and exhibitions. Its focus is on art from Central Finland and printmaking. The same focus guides the selection of periodicals.

The press clipping archive contains newspaper and magazine clippings on visual art, printmaking and photographic art in Central Finland. The archive is no longer being expanded, but the material collected in the past is preserved and continues to support research into the region's art history.

The image archive contains material relating to the museum's exhibitions and collections, as well as visual art from Central Finland. The archive provides visual documentation of the museum's activities and the region's art scene.
