Jyväskylä Art Museum is a place where you can spend time on your own, with friends, or with your family.

Admission is free every day for visitors under the age of 24. People of all ages can also visit the museum free of charge on special free-admission days.

On the third floor of the museum, you will find the Ilmiö Art Space. There, visitors can sit, play, and explore different aspects of art. The space can be enjoyed individually, with friends or family, or as part of a school or study group.

The museum shop offers a selection of small gifts, jewellery, postcards, and colouring books. In the lobby, visitors can meet friends, enjoy their own packed lunch, or purchase café products during events. The museum also features unique art-themed restrooms.

The museum hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year. The Open Art Workshop is free of charge and open to everyone who enjoys creating art. The workshop takes place on selected Fridays from 2 pm to 5 pm and during school holidays from 12 pm to 3 pm.

Exhibition opening events are free and open to everyone. The museum also organises free events for children and young people.
