International House Jyväskyläs Finnish-language groups
International House Jyväskylä organises various groups for Finnish-language learners. These groups practise Finnish in various professional areas, such as customer service and in the fields of restaurant work and nursing. You will learn vocabulary used in the field in addition to speech and writing skills required for related work tasks.
You can join a group if you work in a particular occupation, are studying in the field, or you want to work in the field. The courses are short, and groups usually meet five times.
Additionally, we organise groups where you can learn aspects of the Finnish language specifically needed when looking for a job. For example, the Finnish job search team practises reading job advertisements, writing a CV and job application, and preparing for a job interview. This group usually meets six times.
The groups are conducted in Finnish. For this reason, you should already know a little Finnish.
