Edlevo application for early childhood education

Edlevo is a free service application for customers of early childhood education in Jyväskylä.
In Edlevo, a child’s guardian (municipal early childhood education) can:
- Receive electronic decisions on early childhood education and fees
- Book care times
- Report absences
- View accumulated care hours
- Indicate care needs during holiday periods
- Send and receive messages related to the child’s early childhood education
- Read announcements from early childhood education
- Terminate the early childhood education place
- Submit income information or accept the highest fee
In Edlevo, a child’s guardian (private early childhood education) can:
- Receive decisions on service voucher eligibility and value
- Terminate the early childhood education service voucher
- Submit income information or accept the highest fee
The Edlevo mobile app can be downloaded from the app store for Android or iOS phones. You can also use Edlevo in a web browser. The program works best with Chrome or Firefox.
Using Edlevo requires strong authentication (suomi.fi). The Edlevo mobile app session remains valid for 28 days unless you log out. After that, you must log in again using strong authentication.

Processing of personal data
The service manager acts as the person responsible for the personal data registers within the service area. Privacy notices are available at daycare centres and in service guidance. Customers have the right to review the information concerning themselves.
According to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018), municipalities are obliged to record in the early childhood education data repository (Varda) information about children in early childhood education and their guardians, early childhood education providers and locations, as well as staff.
