Are you a new job seeker?
If you do not have a job or a student place, you will have to register as an unemployed job seeker online on the TE Services’ E-services.
Sign in to Job Market Finland and you can draft a job seeker profile on the Job Market Finland website for the employers to find and contact you. You can also browse vacancies and look for services that would support your search and work ability on the website.

Do you have any questions about unemployment security?
The national helpline will advise you and answer your questions regarding unemployment security. The service is open from Monday to Friday between 9.00 and 16.15.

Support for job search
Once you have registered as an unemployed job seeker, your personal career coach will get in touch. Together with you, your personal career coach will draft an employment plan taking your future wishes into account.
Personal career coach supports job hunting. The personal career coaches for the City of Jyväskylä Employment provide support to unemployed job seekers participating the local government pilot to find jobs or suitable services that help them find work faster.
Leave a message with your contact details for your personal career coach on the E-services of TE services.
In an urgent case you can always come to meet personal career coach on duty on weekdays between 12.00 and 15.00 at the International Jyväskylä, Kilpisenkatu 1 D.
The client service model for employment
In accordance with the client service model for employment, you are to apply for four job opportunities within an agreed period.
