For Town Hall visitors

The Town Hall, and the Säynätsalo District Office situated therein, are open at the times stated above. Groups are requested to inform us of their arrival well in advance. There is a voluntary admission fee. Use of a guide is not compulsory.

Office

The office located in the Town Hall functions as a district service point of the City of Jyväskylä for residents. Säynätsalo residents can pay municipal bills at the office. The office also provides information on municipal services, as well as guidance and advice concerning social and health services as well as employment and subsistence. In addition the district office handles the hire of meeting facilities and guest rooms in the Town Hall. Each year the town hall is visited by a large number of Finnish and foreign guests with an interest in architecture.

The facilities for hire in the Town Hall include the council chamber, the meeting room of the municipal board, as well as the club rooms on the ground floor. The facilities are well suited for meetings and training sessions, as well as corporate events and private functions, given the architectural merits of the building.
