Open urban yard planned in the Jyväskylä city centre

The last remaining wooden house plot from the 1800s in Jyväskylä city centre is located at in the corner of Cygnaeuksenkatu and Hannikaisenkatu, the address is Cygnaeuksenkatu 2. The property and buildings are owned by the City of Jyväskylä.

A project plan of the block is drafted. The aim is to develop an open, uniform urban yard in the 1800s style offering experiences and activities, for instance cafeteria, museum and craft activities. The plan is to renovate and restore the yard, buildings and the surrounding green areas. An entrepreneur is searched for the renovation and business activities.
