New WORK WITH US information service for foreign jobseekers

A new “Work with us” information service has been launched on the Human Technology web-site in Central Finland. The service is designed for employment-based immigrants.

The information service offers information about job-seeking, Finnish work culture and about get-ting settled in Central Finland. The pages include stories by work-based immigrants who have moved to Central Finland, telling why they have chosen the area as their new home. Also em-ployers tell about their experiences of foreign employees.

The Human Technology website is a versatile promotion channel for Central Finland, serving not only immigrants but also international companies, investors, students, potential new inhabi-tants and tourists.

In the current economic circumstances Central Finland has plenty of workforce, but the situa-tion can change rapidly. The “Work with us” information service is a tool for looking into the future and the new rise in recruiting after the depression. The foundation that is laid now sup-ports our ability to receive foreign employees in the years to come. The “Work with us” infor-mation service and its contents have been created by the Jyväskylä Regional Development Company Jykes Ltd and its partners.
It is a good idea to make active use of the service from the very start. Companies and organisa-tions in Central Finland are welcome to make links to the Human Technology website from their own home pages and to use the site for the international marketing of Central Finland.
