Teachers from Yaroslavl College of Management and Professional Technology visiting Jyväskylä 22-25 November 2016

Teachers from Yaroslavl College of Management and Professional Technology are getting to know vocational education as well as inclusive education principles during their study visit in Jyväskylä on 22 - 25 November, 2016. The group is led by Ms. Marina V. Tcvetaeva, Director of the Yaroslavl College of Management and Professional Technology.

Teachers from Yaroslavl will meet City of Jyväskylä’s representatives at the City Hall and the Finnish education system and the view on inclusive education will be introduced. The visiting programme includes visits to Tikkakosken yhtenäiskoulu school, the Finnish Institute for Educational Research, the Jyväskylä Educational Consortium and Bovallius Vocational College, which is a vocational special needs education college.

In addition the group will be familiarized how Teacher Education College of JAMK develops competencies of secondary education teachers and educational institutions in the field of inclusive education.

The cities of Yaroslavl in Russia and Jyväskylä in Finland have been twin cities since 1966 and cooperated in several fields, especially in arts and education.
