The report on the development of the City of Jyväskylä’s health-care service network has been published

The report on the development of the City of Jyväskylä’s health-care service network has been completed.

Suggested key measures include re-evaluating the size of the new health-care centre building in Vaajakoski and reducing the facilities for Jyväskylä in the new hospital. A central new hospital is planned to be built in Jyväskylä to take care of 0,5 M patients annually, with 3500 nurses and doctors and assisting staff.

The new hospital is planned to become a centre for medical care, research and training. New hospital will focus on new and innovative solutions where technology will be integrated in to the care and recovery, energy consumption and wise use of materials as well as on rapid rehabilitation of patients.
