60th anniversary celebrations of AaltoAlvari Aquatic Centre on 10-11 January, 2015

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary celebrations of AaltoAlvari Aquatic Centre a water sports carnival is organized at the AaltoAlvari Aquatic Centre on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of Janury, 2015

The water sports carnival programme offers versatile activities for children and adults. All activities are included in the normal AaltoAlvari entrance fee.

Programme on Saturday 10 January

  • City of Jyväskylä Theatre’s Viiru cat visits at the children's pool at 10.30-11.30
  • Carneval water aerobics
    at 10.30–10.55 Disco rhythms
    at 11.30–11.55 Latin dances
    at 12.30–12.55 Samba
    at 13.30–13.55 Carneval
  • Body composition measurements (free of charge) at 14.00-15.00

In addition, the Wibit AquaTrack-track is available on 10th and 11th of January at 10-18. WIBIT offers surroundings for enjoyable water play for instance obstacle courses, slides, climbing and other super fun for both children and adults.

AaltoAlvari offers a great variety of water and health activities to people of all ages. AaltoAlvari consists of facilities such as swimming pools, the flow pool, the water slide, saunas and the well equipped gym. AaltoAlvari is located in the Hippos sports area, nearby the main campus of the University of Jyväskylä.
