Canvas Festival at the Kangas Area

Canvas Festival is an annual urban festival held in Jyväskylä, Finland on the 22.-23.8.2014.

Festival takes place in- and outside of an old paper mill near the city center of Jyväskylä (Kympinkatu 3). Canvas Festival was held for the first time in 2013 and it presented a wide range of urban culture from skateboarding to dancing and graffiti art. Even though the festival promotes cross-cultural program, in its heart it is an music festival.

Note that, on these two festival days you can reach the Kangas area also by old-fashioned train. The train for Kangas leaves Jyväskylä Travel Centre at 19:00 and 21:00. The journey by train is free of charge.
