Customers are satisfied with municipal early childhood education services in Jyväskylä

The results of the customer survey for municipal early childhood education in Jyväskylä indicate that families are satisfied with the services they receive. The practices of a good start – initial discussions, familiarisation visits and the possibility of a parent to be involved during the first days – have been fulfilled excellently and have become standards.

The survey, which is conducted twice during the operating year, was carried out on 4–17 April. More than 1,000 parents sent responses by the deadline. “The customer survey is one way for parents to have an impact on the services and their development”, says Tarja Ahlqvist. Other channels through which parents can have an impact include the customer jury for early childhood education and feedback surveys for service control.
